“TES Renewal: Skywind” is a non-commercial, fan made modification for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim that seeks to merge the amazing world of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind with the enhanced graphics and capabilities of Skyrim's engine.
As a member of coding department, my assignment was implementation of Weapon Degradation & Repair System from Morrowind. My forum profile can be found on THIS LINK as a piece of evidence on contribution to the project, since I can't provide any kind of work from the project because of NDA. My Contribution & Experience
I used Bethesda Creation Kit as the main tool, and Papyrus language as the main scripting language.
That project was great engineering experience for me, because modding with Creation Kit needs knowledge of crazy shortcuts to implement desired features. For example, to store a variable on a NPC, it's needed to create a spell, then store desired variables on it, and lastly put this spell on the NPC (or NPC's race) as a passive spell. With that way, it's possible to store a variable on a NPC.
Another example, to create a timed in-game event, it's needed to create a quest, assign events and their conditions into that quest as "Quest Steps", and lastly start that quest with initialization of game automatically.
I joined to development team in November 2016, and left in January 2017 because of my classes, after completing required part of my assignment.
